Jae is an Assistant Vice President at RFA and comes from the American Bankers Association, where he covered legislative and regulatory policy on housing, financial technology, and fair lending. He was engaged in outreach and coalition building with external stakeholders; represented ABA in front of regulators, Congressional offices, industry, and community groups; conducted market research and data analysis to support ABA’s advocacy efforts; and provided coverage of Congressional hearings and regulatory developments for ABA member banks. Jae also helped put together a communications strategy for fair lending issues.
Prior to working at the ABA, Jae was responsible for a diverse portfolio of financial services issues at lobbying firm Eris Group and for Congressman Scott Tipton (R-CO), a member of the House Financial Services Committee.
Before moving to D.C., Jae worked for Raymond James Financial as a Financial Analyst in the Anti-Money Laundering, Alternative Investments, and Fixed Income Research departments, as well as in Internal Audit & Financial Advisory at consulting firm Protiviti.
